City of Flesh: Urban Odysseys book launch

Besides writing on social issues and political matters, I absolutely LOVE writing fictional pieces as well. My story City of Flesh will be published in an anthology of stories called Urban Odysseys! The book is published by MPH and will be officially launched on February 10, 2009, retailing at RM 35.90.

My ultimate dream is to publish a novel (that millions of people will buy, of course!). Before I can sell a million copies, I need to write it first though.

City of Flesh is actually my third piece in print. I have written two pieces (a short story and a poem) under the pseudonym RK Boo in a book called Young Women Speak Out, published by the All Women's Action Society (AWAM). You can check out the book at all MPH bookstores.

I'm especially proud of my story City of Flesh as it was selected from a pool of stories that MPH had to choose for the anthology. So, I suppose there's something worthwhile about my writing after all, and that I'm not just a vain, mediocre writer. :-) So yes, buy the book Urban Odysseys!
